1 man killed following 2-vehicle crash in Dodge County, WI | By Dodge Co. Sheriff

October 13, 2024 – Dodge Co., WI – On October 12,2024 at approximately 8:38 p.m., Dodge County deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on County Road G near Canary Road, in the town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin. The lone occupant of a black 2009 Cadillac CTS was pronounced dead at the scene. The other vehicle was parked in a private driveway and was unoccupied.

The initial investigation shows a 2009 Cadillac, driven by a 45-year-old man from Palmyra was southbound on County Road G and ran off the roadway to the right, continuing into a private driveway.

The Cadillac struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle and further continued in the private yard.

The Cadillac struck a tree and came to a stop, causing severe front-end damage.

The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene and the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office responded. Excessive speed is believed to be a factor at this time.

Assisting at the scene were the Beaver Dam Fire Department, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office, Dodge County Emergency Response Team (DCERT), and the Beaver Dam Police Department.

This crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team. The name of the driver is being withheld pending family notification.
