West Bend, Wi – A change is underway at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County as executive director Janean Brudvig prepares to retire and Melanie Gonring takes over. Below is an introductory letter from Gonring.
Dear Friends of Interfaith Caregivers,
What an exciting and rewarding first two weeks it has been. I am deeply honored to step into the role of Executive Director for Interfaith Washington County, and I’m humbled by the warm welcome I have received from all of you.
I know there are big shoes to fill, but I am confident together we can continue to build upon the great foundation created by Janean and the leaders who have helped guide the organization throughout the years.
I am incredibly enthusiastic to work alongside such a compassionate and dedicated group of people, and I am eager to learn from all of you—our volunteers, supporters and community partners—who have been so instrumental in advancing our mission.
Thank you for your unwavering commitment to ensuring Washington County seniors have access to the critical services they need to remain healthy and independent.
I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming months as we embark on this journey together. Hope to see you at Oktoberfest
With gratitude,
Melanie Gonring
Executive Director
