July 13, 2024 – West Bend, WI – West Bend Police and emergency crews are on scene at the West Bend Airport following reports of a possible problem when a plane landed around 10:52 a.m. Saturday morning.
Witnesses say there is a lot of police activity. Early word is a plane may have flipped while landing.
UPDATE| 11:50 a.m. – According to West Bend Police – On 07/13/24 at 10:51 a.m. West Bend Police Dispatch was notified of a single prop Cessna airplane that overturned while landing at the West Bend Municipal Airport. West Bend Police and Fire responded to the scene. There were four people aboard the plane and no reported injuries as a result of the incident. The NTSB and FAA have been notified and will be investigating.
