East wrestlers come away with silver and gold and a 4 -1 record at Travis Wichlacz Memorial Duals By Allie Boettcher

Jan. 7, 2017 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend East wrestling team hosted the Travis Wichlacz Memorial Duals on Saturday and went 4-1 as a team.

East beat Germantown 42-36,  West Bend West 48-27, Brookfield East 63-12, and Menasha 51-15.

Waterford beat East 49-30.

The East Sun’s Manny Garrison pinned Waterford’s Zack Kaminski in 1:18 finishing the tournament 5-0 with three pins.

East’s Dan Ciriacks beat Germantown’s Jeffery Brezonick and ended the day 3-2.

East’s Cooper Schlosser beat West Bend West’s Alan Duncan by fall in 1:49. Schlosser went 4-1 on the day earning a silver medal.

Cody Hughes beat West Bend West’s Greg Ische by pin in 4:32 finishing with a record of 4-1. Bryce Henschel pinned Menasha’s Bryce Hooyman in 1:45 and also finished 4-1.

East’s Cayden Henschel beat Dylan Lemanski from West Bend West with a pin in 4:15. Henschel went 5-0 earning a gold medal.

Jason Myrick pinned Menasha’s Abe Elazazy in 1:21 finishing the day 3-2.

East’s Damian Zapata won by fall in 4:58 beating Ethan Davis from Brookfield East.
