1 man in custody following drug bust in Hartford, WI | By Hartford Police

Hartford, WI – Hartford Police officer Parker conducted a traffic stop December 14, 2024, after he observed a vehicle speeding and running a red light within the City of Hartford. The vehicle did not immediately stop, and Officer Parker noted the driver was making numerous furtive movements towards the center console.

During the traffic stop, K-9 Flash was deployed for a free air sniff and provided a positive alert for the presence of drugs.

While performing a subsequent probable cause search, Officers opened the center console and located 15.34 grams of multicolored pressed pills, which tested for the presence of Methamphetamine/ Fentanyl.

There were 38 pills in total and were in the form of small edible candy.

 

The driver provided consent to a search of his phone to prove he was not a drug dealer. After which, over 900 text messages of drug activity were discovered, including messages to deliver these drugs.

The individual is being held at the Washington County jail on charges for possession with intent to distribute narcotics. More importantly, this deadly poison has been removed from the community.
