Donations for new amenities at Centennial Park still being sought | By Steve Volkert

Washington County, WI – For the City of Hartford community, 2022 and 2023 will be active years for the construction of the new amenities of Centennial Park just east of the Post Office.

The renovations include two new playground sets for children of varied ages along with a new walking/riding path, new fishing piers into the Millpond, a new northern wall to the Millpond with kayak launch, and a brand new pavilion and performance stage.

Already, over $319,000 has been donated toward the project for naming rights.

Those items still on the list for donation naming rights include:

$125,000 for the Reservable Shelter facing the Post Office
$ 4,000 Millpond Fish Restocking
$ 3,000 Fitness Station (2 available)
$ 2,500 Millpond Fish Crib
$ 750 Bike Racks (4 available)
$ 500 Picnic Tables (5 available)
$ 250 Trees (16 available)
