March 6, 2023 – West Bend, WI – News of the death of Dennis Bigley spread quickly across church families in West Bend, WI over the weekend. Bigley, who co-owned Monarch Studio, passed on Friday, March 4 at his home.
Many across West Bend and Washington County knew Bigley as the man who took their high school senior picture. His studio was located in a house on Paradise Drive.
It was announced by the family in January that Bigley suffered stage 4 colon cancer.
The family asked, “Throughout the years, Dennis has been a jack of all trades; family photographer, handy-man-extraordinaire, and leader of various church groups and bible studies. It would mean so much to us if you could address a letter to Dennis sharing a sweet or funny memory, bible verse, or encouragement.
In addition to notes of encouragement, if Dennis has ever taken a portrait of your family, would you mind digging it up and writing a few words about the season of life he captured for you and your family in that particular photograph? We’d be so grateful and would love to revisit some of the photos he has taken throughout the years.”
