October 13, 2020 – West Bend, WI – David “Dave” Kusnier, 76, of West Bend was called home peacefully on October 10, 2020 at his residence.
Dave was born on August 21, 1944 to Wendall and Elizabeth “Betty” Kusnier (Blackburn). He was united in marriage to Karen Peters on May 19, 1984.
Dave graduated from Juneau High School in Milwaukee. He loved baseball, swap meets, his family and most importantly spending time in his garage working on his antique cars! Dave loved his Ford cars, especially his 1928 Ford Model A.
He was a member of the Wisconsin Chapter Model A Ford Club of America for over 25 years, where he served as Vice-President on board of directors from 1975-1978.
Those Dave leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 36 years, Karen; son, Keith (Ewa) Kusnier; daughter, Katie (Mary) Smith; step-daughter, Jennifer (Paul) Quast; and step-son, Mark Sander. He is further survived by his three grandsons, Evan Venne, Hudson Serocki, and Kyzer Serocki.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by sisters, Alice Hibbard and Joanne Kasper.
Due to COVID-19 the family will be scheduling a Celebration of Dave’s Life at a later date (in 2021).
