Obituary | Dale A. Belke, 83, of Jackson

December 11, 2020 – Jackson, Wi – Dale A. Belke, 83, of Jackson died on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Froedtert West Bend Hospital.  He was born on December 25, 1936 in Merrill, WI.

On March 24, 1962, he married Judy Joy at Capitol Drive Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.  Judy was the love of Dale’s life.  Following her death on November 8, 2018, he continued to love and cherish her, missing her every day.

Dale’s greatest joy in life was being a dad, grandpa and later a great-grandpa.  He liked traveling, wishing he would have been able to do more, and like visiting casinos.  He also had a green thumb.  Years ago, he had a bountiful vegetable garden and later in life grew and tended to beautiful flower gardens.

He was an active and faithful member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hartford where he had many friends, and also was a frequent guest at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Port Washington.

Survivors include 4 children: Beth (Gary) Wolf of Menomonee Falls, Brenda (Paul) Oster of Pewaukee, Brian of Knoxville, TN and Jay (Tami) of Port Washington; 9 grandchildren: Alyssa (Jared) Stephens, Aimee (Nicholas) Hubacher, Sara (Caleb) McGlone, Nicholas (Jessica) Seidl, Katy (Zach) Connor, Sara (Ashton) Hall, Sophie, Sam Oster and Makenna Oster; 14 great-grandchildren: Christopher James, Milo and Finnegan McGlone, Wyatt, Walter, Woodrow and Wilhemina Hubacher, Arya Stephens, Brayden, Julian and Thalia Hall and Jade, Onyx and Malachi Connor; 1 brother-in-law James Engel of Merrill, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his mother Rosella Schroeder-David, 1 sister Jackie Engel and 1 brother James.

Private family services will be held with entombment in Wisconsin Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.

The Schmidt Funeral Home of Jackson is serving the family.
