Dairy Queen saying goodbye to a longtime Dilly Bar flavor

Washington Co., WIDairy Queen Grill & Chill, N168W21991 Main St, Jackson, WI has returned to making dilly bars in the store at the Jackson location.

According to franchise owner, Kevin Scheunemann, “At the end of April, we moved some Jackson Dairy Queen staff to our West Bend location. We had to order pre-made Dilly Bars from the warehouse to ensure proper store staffing. We now have been able to “catch up making dilly bars in-house at Jackson.”

The Dilly Bar saga takes another turn, this time with regard to flavor choices. Unfortunately, while I do have a large supply of cherry cone dip currently, I was just informed today we will not get more cherry cone dip until spring,” said Scheuneman. “We may run out of cherry cone dip this fall which means we may have to go back to the cherry dilly bar from the warehouse.”

For those who can’t wait for their butterscotch Dilly Bar fix, better get that in soon. “I was also informed today that butterscotch cone dip is potentially being discontinued next spring for good, which will mean the butterscotch Dilly Bar may be going away in 2024,” said Scheunemann.
Scheunemann also owns the Kewaskum Dairy Queen franchise where they make Dilly Bars in-store.
Current prices for Dilly Bars at all three DQ franchises is:
Single Dilly bars are $2.69 each
6-pack of Dillys is $12.99
12-pack is $17.99
