The standoff reportedly started earlier in the afternoon at 3:20 p.m.
Around 7 p.m. after police were spotting unloading a black case from the back of a squad on Longmeadow Drive, there was a loud bang around 7:30 p.m.
Police had been shouting orders through a megaphone ordering the man to come out with his hands up.
Shortly after the bang, the man, dressed in a white t-shirt and greenish pants, was led out of the garage. A cheer went up from the crowd in attendance. “They got him,” said one man.
The man in custody, who was walking in bare feet, complained he was bleeding and in need of immediate medical attention. Other than the man, it appeared nobody was injured.
