April 4, 2025 – West Bend, Wi – Motorists in West Bend, Wi, should avoid the intersection of Highway 33 and Silverbrook as rescue crews are on scene of a 3-vehicle crash. The incident happened before 11 a.m. on Friday.
UPDATE: Call came in at 10:56 a.m. There were three cars involved and all three vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.
One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The officer has not completed their report as of yet. Meaning I can’t say at this time how the accident occurred or if any driver was cited. (Remains under investigation).
No one was taken into custody at the scene, meaning alcohol was not a contributing factor and all the drivers remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation according to Lt. Brian McAndrews.
Police were on scene along with the fire department and ambulance. Several of the vehicles have severe front-end damage.
Traffic is being rerouted off at Meadowbrook Drive and Hwy 33 and at Eighth Avenue and Hwy 33.
