September 4, 2024 – Dodge Co., Wi – On September 4, 2024, at approximately 3:47 p.m., deputies from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to State Highway 33 near N. Crystal Lake Road in the township of Beaver Dam for a crash involving two vehicles.
The investigation revealed a 62-year-old man from rural Beaver Dam was traveling east on State Highway 33 in on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. A school bus operated by a 54-year-old Beaver Dam man was traveling north on N. Crystal Lake Road.

The school bus collided with the motorcycle in the intersection of State Highway 33 / N Crystal Lake Road. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Marshfield Medical Center (MMC) in Beaver Dam with serious injuries.
The 54-year-old Beaver Dam man was uninjured. There were no other occupants on the school bus at the time of the crash aside from the driver.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office. Agencies responding to and assisting at the scene included the Beaver Dam Police Department, Beaver Dam Fire Department and Beaver Dam Paramedics.
The highway was partially closed for just under 30 minutes to keep the scene safe for those working and investigating the scene.
