Feb. 15, 2017 – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southeast Region is scheduled to begin work on WIS 175 from Maple Road to Beechwood Industrial Court and from Polk Street to WIS 60 in March.
WIS 175 resurface improvements will include a mill and overlay of existing asphalt pavement and a reconstruction of all intersections, including a roundabout at Lannon Road and WIS 175.
Michels Highway, a division of Michels Corporation of Brownsville, Wisconsin has been awarded the $8.7 million contract to construct these improvements.

All persons interested in the WIS 175 project are encouraged to attend an open-house meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., at the Richfield Fire Station, 2008 WIS 175, Richfield, Wisconsin.
At 6 p.m., a project manager from Michels Highway will briefly present the schedule of operations.
Representatives from WisDOT will be able to answer schedule-related questions at any time.
