North Main Street will be closed in downtown West Bend, between Hickory Street and North Sixth Avenue, beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 9.
The City of West Bend Public Works Department will be assisting TP Concrete, Inc. with removal and replacement of the crosswalk connecting Vest Pocket Park to Old Settlers Park on North Main Street.
The road closure will be in affect from Monday, May 9 – Thursday, May 12, weather permitting.
Parking will be affected by the construction project.
Approximately four parking stalls located adjacent to Old Settlers Park and two parking stalls south of Old Settlers Park will be used for equipment, supplies and traffic control, and therefore will not be accessible to the public.
Detour signs will be posted to reroute traffic. Motorists are asked to exercise caution, observe construction signs, obey flagmen and be alert for heavy construction equipment while work is in progress.
Alternate routes should be selected if possible.
