Dec. 12, 2017 – Jackson, WI – Students from Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School traveled by coach bus down to Chicago to spend an exciting day shopping.
The students were dropped off at the German Christmas market in downtown Chicago and given the whole day to shop along North Michigan Avenue at the boutiques and malls, explore Millennium Park, visit the Cloud Gate sculpture, and experience the German culture at the German Christmas market.
Warmer weather and only slight snow brought out the crowds, turning the Christmas market into a bustling mass of customers shopping, experiencing traditional foods, and downing warm beverages.
This trip was offered through the German Program as a way for the German students to experience the traditional German culture, but any student was welcome to come along.
