West Bend, WI – The chicks were noisy as usual arriving at the West Bend Elevator, 3434 County D, West Bend, WI, this week and for a little 2-year-old it was such a special occasion…. she wore pearls.
Little Nora was fascinated with the chicks. The fluffy bundles of feathers were separated into breeds including Rainbow Eggers, Barred Rock, and Delaware.
No baby ducks this year.

Chicks are available on a first-come first-serve basis. No holds.
Just a reminder to all customers the chicks are extremely sensitive to drafts and temperature changes. Please make sure they are kept warm as the weather can be on the colder side and windy. Don’t forget, West Bend Elevator also has everything you need to get your chicken operation going including feeders, waters, feed, and treats.Â

The chicks are yellow, black, and orange and if you get the ones with the colorful heads then the eggs will be multicolored (true fact).
The weather is still a bit cool and West Bend Elevator recommends a heat lamp.
This is the only shipment of the chicks. If they sell out a custom order will be taken as the season moves forward.
