March 10, 2021 – Town of Auburn, Wi – Charles A. “Chuck” Vorpahl, 84, of the town of Auburn, went to his heavenly home on Monday, March 8, 2021.
Chuck was born on November 2, 1936, in Kewaskum, the son of the late Louis and Minnie (nee Nelson) Vorpahl. Chuck graduated from Kewaskum High School – class of 1954. He then went to serve his country in the U.S. Army/National Guard from 1958 to 1964.
On February 21, 1997, he was united in marriage to Jean Kedinger in Maui which started their enjoyed travels to Costa Rica, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Africa, Trinidad, Tobago, Galapagos, Machu Picchu, Peru, Holland, and three times to Alaska. Chuck loved hiking, fishing, hunting, and morel hunting.
Those Chuck leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Jean; four children, Jeff (Carol) Vorpahl of Sheboygan Falls, Julie (Randy) Voigt of Lac du Flambeau, Sandy Vorpahl of Campbellsport, and Kelly (Jason) Staffin of Kewaskum; 7 grandchildren, Angie Vorpahl, Lisa (Tyler) Gonzales, Mandy Vorpahl, Christopher (Kathleen) Vorpahl, Stephanie Voigt, Samantha Staffin, and Emmett Staffin; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Redinger; a brother, Louis “Joe” (Rachel) Vorpahl; two brothers-in-law, David Kedinger and William (Colleen) Kedinger; his mother-in-law, Virginia Kedinger; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by three sisters, Beatrice (Benedict) Fellenz, Lois (Lee) Breitkreutz, and Doris Vorpahl; two brothers in infancy, Karl and Evan Vorpahl; and two sisters in infancy, Elizabeth and Ellen Vorpahl; two brothers-in-law, Marvin Berndt and Leonard Redinger; and his father-in-law, Donald Kedinger.
VISITATION: Chuck’s family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Drive, in Kewaskum from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Funeral services for Chuck will be held at 1:00 p.m. at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday. Rev. Timothy Henning will officiate and burial will follow at Orchard Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
