February 3, 2020 – West Bend, WI – An announcement was made during Monday night’s West Bend Common Council meeting that Kwik Trip will not be discussed during the Tuesday, Feb. 4 Plan Commission meeting.
City administrator Jay Shambeau confirmed, this was the second month in a row Kwik Trip has backed off its appearance. Shambeau said there is nothing hinkey going on; Kwik Trip is just getting its ducks in a row.
No date, so far, on when Kwik Trip will be rescheduled.
Plans are to build a No. 5 Kwik Trip at the former Fleet Farm location and the former Tri-Par at 1613 and 1637 W. Washington Street, West Bend.
Tuesday’s Plan Commission meeting begins at 6 p.m. The meeting is in the council chambers and is open to the public.
