Fond du Lac County Fair Manager Matt Immel said it’s becoming more difficult to book national acts for county fairs.
He said their goal is to keep fair goers entertained, but still keep the prices they charge at the gate affordable.
He said this year’s Grand Stand acts; Johnny Wad, the Mantz Brothers, and Hairball have appeared in the area before.
The Mantz Brothers have had a couple songs released nationally and opened for Jerrod Niemann two years ago at the fair.
The Fond du Lac County Fair is July 20 – 24.
