Cedar Community’s short-term rehabilitation received a high performing rating, with many categories rating much higher than the national average, especially nursing and patient-centered care. The data used to evaluate each nursing home and short-term rehabilitation comes from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services (CMS). The rating is based on nurse staffing, patient outcomes, facility complaints, and rehabilitation therapy, and are defined as high performing, average, or below average.
