August 30, 2023 – West Bend, WI – The Board of Directors at local nonprofit organization Casa Guadalupe announced today that the current Director of Hispanic Literacy Programs, Maria Gutierrez-Gurrola, has been named Executive Director.
Her first day will be September 5, 2023. Gutierrez has worked with Casa Guadalupe since 2017 in various positions and has been a key part of growing youth and literacy programs, as well as their Fiesta Latina and Noche de Baile events.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Maria into this new role,” says Kevin Rodriguez, President of the Board of Directors at Casa Guadalupe. “Her passion for serving the community is infectious, and her commitment to Casa is undeniable. We’re looking forward to continued growth for the organization and seeing Maria’s vision for Casa realized under her leadership.”
Gutierrez’s appointment kicks off exciting changes at the organization including staffing and event updates.

The Board of Directors welcomes the community to attend the second annual Noche de Baile: Dream to Succeed Scholarship Fundraiser.
