West Bend, Wi – Residents of Cedar Community gathered with friends and family to celebrate life and remember those who had passed during the 5th annual Butterfly Release at Cedar Ridge.

Julie Jennings, VP of spiritual care and well-being at Cedar Community, said the butterfly release should be a recognition of how fragile life is and to take advantage of everyday opportunities to celebrate life.
“Let us release these butterflies today and let us move with them into the continuing wild wonder of this life,” she said. “Celebrating its blessings, enduring its cruelties, and awakening to the faith and hope in what is yet to be.”
