Quite an active Monday for West Bend Police. At 3:45 p.m. there was a multiple vehicle accident at Highway 45 and Highway 33. No major injuries but quite the traffic backup.
About the same time there was a vehicle on its side and Creek and Schoenhaar Drive, that’s a block east of River Road. Two people were injured. The driver was cited for failure to control the vehicle.
At 8 p.m. on Monday, May 23 a neighbor in the 200 block of Vine Street smelled natural gas and called the WBPD. They scooted right down the block and contacted We Energies who detected the leak in the basement. No injuries. All is well.
In Hartford there were a couple of motorcycle accidents on Monday afternoon.
