Nov. 11, 2017 – Washington Co., WI – Lilly Westerman submitted a post titled ‘Brothers of Valor – The Justman family’ as a tribute to six of the 12 brothers who served and one who died while defending the U.S.A.
Hilary Justman-drafted-Army-Died in Korea at age 22 on 11-7-1952.
Hilbert Justman-enlisted-Marines-served in Korea. Spent 50 years in VA hospitals and homes with PTSD. died at the age of 78 on 10-6-2010.
Harry Justman-drafted-Navy-General discharge. Korea War was over. Died at age 83 with brain tumor on 4-15-2017. His son enlisted in the Navy.
Henry Justman-enlisted-Career in Army. Served statewide, Vietnam, Korea, and Germany as a social worker. Died at age 55 on 6-5-1995 of lung cancer. Retired with 21 years of service.
Herbert Jr. Justman-drafted-Army. Served in Vietnam for 6 months.Statewide on the job training to be a cook. Discharged with 2 years of service. Still living.
Hiram Justman-drafted-Army Served statewide during Vietnam era. Discharged with 2 years of service.Still living. His son enlisted in the Army.
Gold Star Mother, Lucille and Gold Star Father, Herbert passed away 17 days apart in Jan. 1966.
They raised 12 boys and 2 girls. Six are still living.
