Vehicle break-ins under investigation in Hartford, WI | By Hartford Police

June 10, 2022 – Hartford, WI – On June 6, 2022 around 3 a.m., Hartford Police Officers located individuals suspected of vehicle break-ins in the area of Jefferson Ave and Harker Ave. The Hartford Police Department is asking that those who live in the area to please check your cameras for any video footage near that timeframe for any suspicious activity and to check their vehicles for missing items.
If you locate any footage of suspicious activity, please contact the Hartford Police Department at 262-673-2600.
The Hartford Police Department would like to remind all its citizens to remain vigilant in securing their possessions. We understand that it should not be occurring, however, there remain those individuals who will take advantage of unlocked vehicles.
The Hartford Police Department would like to remind citizens to use the simple 9 p.m. routine reminder.
Every night at 9 p.m., community members should remove all valuables from their vehicle; lock their car; and lock their home. It may also be an advantage to leave an outside light on. Please remember to continue to report anything that you believe to be suspicious.
