West Bend, Wi – This past weekend, the boys SC Wave Washington County U12 soccer team had a lot of fun participating in the Coulee Cup, in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
On Saturday, we had our first game at 11 a.m. It was cold, but we didn’t let that stop us from pulling off our first win of the tournament. Our offense was aggressive, and our defense held up against pressure. The final score was 1-0.
After a short break, we played our second game of the day. We dominated and walked away with a final score of 7-0.
On Sunday morning, we all woke up determined to win the tournament. Our first game was at 8 a.m. We passed the ball around the field and had many openings to score goals. Teamwork led us to a 13-0 win.
By winning this game, our team made it to the championship. We faced our hardest team of the tournament in the championship game. Their offense had some breakaways, but our defense kept it under control.
Our offense played hard and strong against their defense which helped us win the game. The score of the championship game was 2-1.
