Dec. 22, 2018 – West Bend, WI – There will be a gathering outside Holy Angels Parish on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 22, as a blessing of the nativity will be held after the 4 p.m. Mass.
The ceremony should get underway a little after 5 p.m.
The display, which is a hallmark of the holiday in West Bend. The nativity, is in place on the front lawn of Holy Angels Parish on 138 N. Eighth Avenue.
Volunteers assembled the nativity to coincide with the first week of Advent.
The Shepherd and his sheep rest at the foot of the crèche as the Wisemen and Mary and Joseph await the arrival of Baby Jesus.
