The UW-Washington County Men’s Basketball team raced out to an early lead and held on for a 76-64 victory at UW-Manitowoc Monday night.
The Wildcats hustling defense held Manitowoc to only 3 baskets for the entire first half as the Wildcats led 33-23 at intermission.
Tim Pridemore scored 16 points with 8 rebounds and 5 steals.
Shaun Fischer had 16 points including 7-7 Free Throws and 8 rebounds.
Dre Johnson scored 15 on 70 percent shooting and added 5 rebounds.
Aaron Rathke scored 9, grabbed 9 boards and had a pair of blocked shots.
Hayden Steinhardt had 6 points and 7 rebounds.
The Wildcats return to action Wednesday night at home when first place UW-Waukesha travels to West Bend.
The game time has been shifted to 6:30 p.m. at UW-Washington County.
