Big restaurant fire in neighboring Ozaukee County

November 8, 2020 – Thiensville, WI – The Cheel Supper Club, 105 S. Main Street, in Thiensville is on fire. Multiple fire departments are responding. The call came in just after 3 p.m. No word whether anyone was in the building when the fire broke out.

The fire appears to be in the back of the building.

Neighbors across the road said flames are very visible.

Fire Departments on scene include Thiensville, Cedarburg, Germantown, Newburg, Milwaukee, Grafton, Port Washington, Lisbon, North Shore, Saukville, Ozaukee County Emergency Management, Fredonia, Meonomonee Falls, Slinger, Butler, Wauwatosa, Brookfield and Mequon.

Witness said the road is closed to traffic and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Witness said there appears to be multiple buildings on fire.

There are also reports The Cheel was undergoing a remodel.
