West Bend man arrested; incident closes streets in Barton | By West Bend Police

February 16, 2022 – West Bend, WI – On Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 5:14 p.m. a female called West Bend Police to report a domestic violence incident involving her 38-year-old boyfriend and a handgun.

The female left the residence in the 200 block of Roosevelt Drive to call police. Officers responded to the residence and eventually located the man and took him into custody without incident. A handgun was recovered.

Barton Avenue between Jefferson Street and River Drive as well as Roosevelt Drive were closed for approximately one hour during the initial response. There were no injuries reported.
A 38-year-old male subject from West Bend was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct – Domestic Act of Violence.
