Obituary | Barbara Ann Esser (née Glasl), 83, formerly of Hartford

May 9, 2021 – Hartford, WI – Barbara Esser, 83, passed away April 25, 2021 at her home in Monument, Colorado.

Barbara was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 1, 1937 to Otto and Helen Glasl (née Schuman). She lived most of her life in her beloved Wisconsin, most recently in Hartford.

She met and married her most cherished, Nicholas A. Esser, in 1964. They raised a family and enjoyed 57 years together.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Nicholas; her three children, Kristin (Andrew), Troy, and Marcella (Dan); her seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Yolanda Sanchez and numerous family members and friends.

 

Visitation, 10 a.m., Rosary immediately following, 10:30 a.m., Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 626 Aspen Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80911.

Mass of Christian Burial to follow, 11 a.m., Thursday, May 20, 2021, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.

Visitation, 1 p.m. -2 p.m., Monday, May 24, 2021, Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53222.

Graveside Service to follow, 2:30PM, Monday, May 24, 2021, Holy Cross Cemetery of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, 7301 West Nash Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53216.
