Students at Badger Middle School in West Bend are gearing up for the Oct. 25 My School Color Run to raise money and have fun instilling a healthy lifestyle
Five students and Principal Dave Uelmen gathered on the running track at the school to shoot a promo video for the run.
Behind the scenes – it was a dicey endeavor because students were going to throw colored chalk packets at the end of the video and Mr. Uelmen had to keep his crisp white shirt clean for parent conferences.
A couple other interesting notes:
-It was mighty challenging to get the students to be loud and use their ‘outside voice.’
-The students were the ones that came up with the promo scenario; everything from tying the shoe to having Principal Uelmen photo bomb the segment.
– Remembering your line is harder than it looks.
The 5K Color Run is $25 and includes a race bib, color packet, and T-shirt.
