On Monday, April  4 at 6:27 p.m. the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a cell 911 call from a 30-year-old Random Lake man reporting that his 35-year-old wife had just given birth to a baby girl in the car on their way to the hospital.

The couple was west bound on County Trunk H and had the baby in the 3500 block of Cty Tk H.  Upon receiving the call, the Sheriff’s Office paged Kewaskum Rescue to stage at a local business in the area of Hy 45 and Cty Tk H along with a sheriff’s deputy.

Another deputy intercepted the vehicle in the area of Forestview Rd. and provided an escort to the staging location.  Upon the couple’s arrival at the staging area, the baby was breathing, alert and had her eyes open.

Kewaskum Rescue transported Mom and daughter to St. Joseph’s Hospital without incident.  At last report Mom, daughter and even Dad are doing well.  The Sheriff’s Office would like to wish Hattie Jae a happy birthday.
