Slinger, WI – The stands were packed at Slinger High School for the 2nd annual Adaptive Basketball Tournament.
Athletes from Hartford, Slinger, and Dodge County Schools participated against Slinger and Hartford High Schools boys’ and girls’ basketball and football teams.

The play was fast, the smiles were broad and there were hearty high fives all around as teams battled for championship rings and bragging rights.
The tournament kicked off with the National Anthem followed by…
a high-energy light show during player introductions. NFL standout Quinn Meinerz, who attended as an alum of Hartford High School, was impressed with the professionalism of the event.
Fans were raucous, screaming encouragement and holding high banners of support.
Organizer Tony Dobson said it was great to see the community turnout and the positive student support from two schools that have a longstanding rivalry. “It’s great to see everyone come together for this,” said Dobson.
Slinger Superintendent Jim Curler said the entire event is a heartwarming experience.
