Armed robbery at R Store gas station in Oshkosh; suspects at large | By Oshkosh PD

August 4, 2021 – Oshkosh, WI – The Oshkosh Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the R Store Gas Station, located at 1623 Bowen Street in the City of Oshkosh.

On August 3, 2021, at approximately 9:44 p.m., Officers from the Oshkosh Police Department were dispatched to an armed robbery that had just occurred at the gas station. We received information that two suspects were involved and that they had robbed the clerk. One of these males displayed a black handgun. He is described as an African American and spoke with an accent. He was wearing dark clothing and bright blue sneakers. The other suspect was identified as a male, race unknown, and was also wearing dark clothing. Both suspects had their faces partially covered. They are believed to be in their teens or twenties and left with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during this incident. Photos of these males are below.

These suspects may have been sighted prior to the robbery in the 2100 Block of Evans Street. If anyone saw these individuals, please contact the Oshkosh Police Department. We are also asking citizens in that area to review their video surveillance cameras and contact us with any further information.
