Today was a great rest day for me even though it was still a bit of a work out.
We left Copper Mountain and went to Arapahoe Basin to ski. We got there and it was a very interesting crowd. Everyone was dressed in a bunch of really hilarious costumes.
We knew that A Basin was the Mardi Gras of all of the hills but people were over the top. People were tailgating in the parking lot and partying all day.
Some of them didn’t even make it out on the hill. The ones that did though you had to stay away from because they were not in control at all.
It was then we realized it was April Fools day. Everything made a lot more sense then. It was a fun experience.
A side note: I’ve sent Lexi some of the support posts on WCI.com. “I love it!! I have seen all the support I have been getting and I really appreciate it.”
