Deadline today to submit application for District 11 Board Supervisor position | By Michael Foti

Washington County, WI – Washington County is seeking applications for County Board Supervisor – District 11 to fill the unexpired Board term of Timothy Michalak ending April 16, 2024.

Interested candidates must reside in District 11 (City of Hartford, Wards 1, 3, 4, 10), be at least 18 years old, and be a U.S. citizen. County Board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.

The appointed individual may also serve on other county committees, which may meet during the day or evening.

The Washington County Board of Supervisors is vested with powers of local, legislative and
administrative character to act upon matters of general government, public safety,
transportation, health and human services, court services, land use, planning and the
conservation of land resources as delegated to the counties of Wisconsin by the State Legislature.

“Our ideal candidate is someone that has a passion for serving the citizens of Washington
County, can work collaboratively with a diverse group of people, and bring a fresh point of view to add to the quality of life for the citizens they represent,” said County Board Chair Jeffrey Schleif.

Applications should include a resume and statement of interest.

The deadline for application is Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 4 p.m. The Executive Committee will review applicants for recommendation to the full County Board.
