West Bend, WI – West Bend’s Memorial Day observance will be held on Monday, May 30, 2022, which will include a parade and program.
Line up for the parade will be on South Main Street between Oak Street and Decorah Road from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. with the parade stepping off at 9:30 a.m.
The parade will end at the Veterans Plaza on Fifth Avenue and Walnut Street, with the program beginning at approximately 10:30 a.m.

“The purpose of the Memorial Day Parade and Program is to honor those who have made the supreme sacrifice for our country,” said Chairperson Steve Rohde. “There will be no commercial advertising, tossing of candy or handouts along the parade route.”

The Memorial Day Program will include Scott Mindel as Master of Ceremonies. Joel Hausmann will lead the audience with “God Bless the U.S.A.”
Gold Star families will be honored at this event.
The public is welcome to attend the program and are asked to bring their own chairs. More information will be given at a later date.
