March 17, 2023 – Washington Co., WI – Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Annette Ziegler, the 6th woman to serve on the Supreme Court, has been reelected by fellow justices to a second 2-year term. She is the 80th Supreme Court Justice.
Chief Justice Ziegler was elected to the Supreme Court in 2007, then re-elected in 2017. In May of 2021, she became Chief Justice.
Prior to serving on the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Ziegler served in Washington County as a Circuit Court Judge for six years and was the first female jurist in the county.
Her current term expires July 31, 2027.
