WBW senior Kylee Altendorf records 1000th career kill for the Spartans

West Bend, Wi – West Bend West senior Kylee Altendorf recorded her 1,000 career kill at the Grafton volleyball match Thursday night.

By the end of the match Altendorf accumulated 1020 kills breaking the 2019 record of 1012 kills.  She is averaging 4.2 kills per set.

Earlier this season, Altendorf also recorded 1,000 digs, surpassing a record set in 2019.

Not only is Altendorf gifted on the court, but she also earns high marks in the classroom.

In July, the National High School Coaches Association honors the nation’s finest 2024 student-athletes as High School Academic All-Americans representing 22 sports.

Altendorf has maintained a 4.0 grade point average and was selected as one of the very best academic student-athletes in the country.

Altendorf is a three-year varsity member of the West Bend West volleyball team.  She was a huge contributor to her team during the 2023 season with 338 kills, 331 digs, and 97% serving accuracy.
