Two sides in a dispute over the location of a sand mine in Town of Ashford have apparently reached an agreement.
A spokesman for the group STOMP or Stop The Ongoing Mine Permit said legal counsel for the Town of Ashford Board of Appeals and Batzler Trucking confirmed the special-use permit issued by the board last August is being invalidated.
Documents still have to be signed and submitted to Fond du Lac County Judge Peter Grimm due to an ongoing lawsuit.
