October 1, 2020 – West Bend, WI – Advanced Pain Management, 1000 Gateway Court, in West Bend has closed.
Building management at Gateway Court indicated the company had been evicted.
According to a report in the BizTimes the West Bend location was one of a dozen APM facilities to close.
A visit to the site on the back end of the strip mall off Paradise Drive, showed the facility had been cleaned out and locked.
Neighboring businesses on Gateway Court said they hadn’t noticed the site went dark.
Calls have been placed to APM. A response will be posted when information becomes available.
A check of Wisconsin Circuit Court shows APM recently “filed for receivership.”
A motion hearing is scheduled for October 5, 2020 in Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
Other APM facilities include clinics in Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac, and Sheboygan.
Advanced Pain Management lists itself as “one of the Midwest’s largest and most diverse providers of pain management, we’re investing in our people, facilities, and new, state-of-the-art technology as a commitment to providing world-class care. Our focus has always been, and always will be, on our patients and helping them find safe, long-term pain relief so they can rediscover joy in their lives.”
As of 10/1, all calls to Advanced Pain Management are being channeled to the main number, and leaving a message is the only option. I called 3 times on 10/1 & 10/2. My call was not returned, even though it concerned a prescription that was never sent to my pharmacy. This error has caused me to run out of pain medication while experiencing a serious issue with my back. I feel that I have been abandoned by this group.
