Cedarburg Police warn about card skimmer found at Olsen’s Piggly Wiggly

January 9, 2025 – Cedarburg, Wi – From Cedarburg Police Department: On January 9, 2025 it was reported by an employee of Olsen’s Piggly Wiggly, W61 N286 Washington Avenue, that they located a card skimmer that was placed on a credit/debit card reader keypad located by one of the stores registers. Pictures of suspects below.

According to Cedarburg Police the “suspects placed the skimmer on the keypad on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at around 5:30 p.m. Suspect 1 is described as male white wearing a light colored winter coat with a fur collar, gray stocking cap, light colored pants and carrying a smaller satchel or purse.
“Suspect 2 described as a male white wearing a red jacket, blue baseball cap, dark colored pants, a medical boot on his left foot and a medical mask.
If any agency has any similar incident or are able to identify the suspects in the Cedarburg incident please notify Officer Buboltz or Cedarburg Police department reference incident report #25-417.
