January 30, 2020 – Washington Co., WI – The Wildcats of UWM at Washington County visited the Blue Devils of UWGB at Manitowoc for a Wisconsin Collegiate Conference Eastern Division Basketball game.
The Wildcats struggled to find any offensive rhythm throughout the entire game. The Blue Devils jumped out to an early 11-5 lead and they never looked back.
Aggression and discipline anchored the Blue Devils on both ends of the court. UWM at Washington County trailed 41-30 at the half. The second half sung a similar tune. After exchanging a few baskets early on, the teams exchanged a few runs. The Blue Devils had the first run with a 12-5 burst. The Wildcats answered with their own 19-0 spurt.
Unfortunately, UWGB at Manitowoc regained control and left with the 83-70 victory.
David Britton lead the team with 38 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Seth Perez added another 18 points and 4 steals.
