West Bend West girls volleyball travels to Beaver Dam sweep the Beavers in three sets. Wests conference record is now 5-3.

The first game West won 25-13. It was a slow-paced match compared to the Sprawl where the Spartans played high strenuous games.

In the second game, West ran away with another win, beating the Beavers 25-16. Coach Alison Tanking used the opportunity to go deep into the bench and it was a great team performance.

The third game all of the Spartans contributed to the 25-11 victory.

Post game Spartans assistant coach Kevin Buettner praised the team effort. “They all played well when given the chance,” he said. “They represent the program well. When they get in the game, the girls don’t waste anytime.”

Although proud of the win Buettner said the team missed too many serves and going forward they will have to practice hard, and go strong into senior night.

The Lady Spartans will play their last home game Thursday against Wisconsin Lutheran in the West Bend High School field house.

It will also be senior night, so it will be a great chance to honor seniors Jenna Karls and Amber Yahr and thank them for their years of service and commitment to the West volleyball program.
