The Hartford Energizers Dance Team was crowned World Champions for second consecutive year at USASF World’s Dance Competition in Orlando, Florida.
Qualifying and competing in 5 divisions, the Energizers earned first place in two divisions and a third place in another.
The USASF Dance Worlds event brings together nearly 3500 of the world’s premier dance athletes from over 40 countries to compete in this event annually.
The Energizers defended the World Champion title in the Senior Pom division (ages 18 and under), added a new World Champion title in the Open Pom division (ages 14 and up), and placed third in the Open Coed Pom division (ages 14 and up).
The annual USASF Dance Worlds event started in 2007. Since their first appearance at Worlds in 2007, the Energizers have earned the title of World Champions five times (2009, 2013, 2015, and 2016-2 times), finished second three times (2013, 2014, and 2015) and third two times (2010 and 2016).
