December 26, 2019 – Theresa, WI – Widmer’s Cheese Cellar in neighboring Dodge County is reporting the death of Jim Widmer, a second-generation cheesemaker who followed in his father’s footsteps.
According to the family:
Jim Widmer will be spending this Christmas in heaven. He took his last breath at 1:57 a.m. on the morning of Christmas.
Jim died exactly liked he lived. Peaceful and extremely thankful throughout, gracefully moving through each stage, while fiercely loving everyone around him.
Jim will be deeply missed. It is truly the end of an era as we say goodbye to the last of the second generation.
