Glenn Brusky, Regional Branch Operations Manager at Educators Credit Union, said its take more than a year to start up the branch because that was their plan all along.
“After purchasing this property, we had targeted to open this office as a branch within two years as we finished other priority projects,” he said. “We were also recently able to sign-up a tenant to split the space to better offset the cost of operations”
Contractors are on site framing the interior and working on the electrical. The tenant will be subleasing the north end of the building. http://www.washingtoncountyinsider.com will release the name of the tenant in June after it closes on the deal. The tenants current lease on E. Washington Street expires at the end of 2016.
“We expect to open this office in mid-June, as early as June 13 or as late as June 27,” said Brusky. “A grand opening is expected in the month of August with product special and other activities being planned.”
After opening, the credit union will be looking at creating awareness of money-saving services and resources it provides.
“Our membership is open to anyone that lives or works in Washington or Ozaukee counties and five other counties in southwest Wisconsin,” Brusky said. “Our goal is to actively share financial knowledge to help people make more informed financial decision and have greater financial success.”
