Slinger boys and girls score a victory over Hartford | By Ron Naab

Tuesday night was a special night of basketball for the 2019/2010 season, as the Slinger Owls hosted a Varsity Doubleheader with the Hartford Orioles.
Starting off the night was the girls’ varsity game.  Slinger and Hartford played a close game for about 3 minutes and then Slinger took the lead and never relinquished.
Every Lady Owls scored in the game, led by Callie Ziebell with 14 points followed by Samantha Gueller with 11 points.  Ramsey McGrew came in with 9 points, all on 3 point shots.  
The Orioles were lead by Evvon Stoeckmann with 12.
Final score was the Lady Owls 76 and the Orioles at 43.  
Friday night the Lady Owls will travel to Port Washington to face off against the Lady Pirates.
The second game of the evening had the Slinger boys team scoring a decisive victory over the Orioles with a final score of 59 to 48. 
The Orioles whittled the lead down to 1 point late in the second half with a 40 to 38 score.
